One more day with high pressure dominating over the Intermountain West, giving us HOT temps! Daytime heating will continue to spark off a few isolated storms over the mountains during the late day hours. A weak disturbance will swing through the Northern Rockies on Thursday bringing in more clouds and some scattered showers and storms. The flood warning for the Big Wood River in Hailey continues, as well as the Bear River at the border. The National Weather Service has extended the flood warning for rain and snowmelt in Custer, Blaine and Northwestern Butte County. Wednesday: Highs in the mid and upper 80’s. Mostly Sunny, with a slight chance of a mountain shower. Tonight: increasing clouds with mild temps. Lows into the 50’s. Light southwesterly breeze at 5-15mph. Thursday: Highs in the low to high 70’s with a mix of sun and clouds and scattered showers and storms. A little breezy with southwest winds from 10-20mph. Friday: mostly sunny and slightly cooler with highs into the upper 70’s.
