EISF board announces ‘Bigger is Better’ theme and 2017 acts

The Eastern Idaho State Fair is back this year bigger and better than ever and one day longer than usual.

With the theme “Bigger is Better,” you can see performances by popular acts like Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.

BIGGER is BETTER at this year’s Eastern Idaho State Fair! On Wednesday, May 31st, Manager Brandon Bird announced the 2017 theme at a special media-day event held in Idaho Falls. The 2017 Fair theme focuses on the new opening day of the Fair – Friday, September 1st! 8 days simply wasn’t enough time to see all that the Fair has to offer. Take advantage of the extra day to look for all day entertainment throughout the fairgrounds, from the grandstand events to free stage acts, from the carnival to the exhibitors, and most importantly, your favorite fair food!

BIGGER IS BETTER – The EISF returns with an incredible package deal – 2 nights of comedic relief for ONE LOW PRICE! Kicking off the new day on Friday, September 1st is Jeff Foxworthy. Foxworthy is one of the most respected and successful comedians in the country. Widely known for his redneck jokes, his act goes well beyond that to explore the humor in everyday family interactions and human nature. Jeff’s wildly successful career includes hosting game shows, writing several books, and beginning his own company – Foxworthy Outdoors. What’s better than one comedy packed evening at the Fair?
