Idaho Falls Zoo’s African lion family reunited
A 3-month-old male African lion cub has been reunited with his parents. Idaho Falls Zoo employees say the reintroduction went extremely well.
The cub was moved to the zoo’s hospital for treatment of a life-threatening medical issue back in early March.
Zoo Executive Director David Pennock says the reintroduction could potentially have been dangerous, and he is proud of the staff who worked so hard to make sure it went smoothly.
You can visit the family trio on exhibit daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
