Pocatello manhole repair scheduled for Tuesday

The City of Pocatello Water Pollution Control Department plans to begin repairing manholes Tuesday, June 6 along South 5th Avenue from West Katsilometes Road to near the Idaho State Police offices.

Crews plan to bring the manhole back to level with the existing roadway to avoid further damage to the road.

Northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane through the construction zone, and motorists are advised to expect delays.

The work is scheduled to wrap up Friday, but unforeseen circumstances or inclement weather may delay the completion.
