Weather update for June 11th & 12th

Showers are increasing over the Snake Plain on Sunday afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop in some areas Sunday night.

A low pressure system will make its way through Eastern Idaho late on Monday. This system will create heavy rainfall and windy conditions for Monday afternoon and Tuesday. By Wednesday, most areas will see sunshine again.

The National Weather Service is forecasting snow on the mountain tops and even down to the summit level by late Monday and into early Tuesday. If you are headed to the Central Mountains, be prepared for slushy and wet road conditions. On Sunday, the Snake River Plain and the Eastern Magic Valley will see windy conditions.

Monday: Highs in the 60’s. Rainy weather conditions.

Tuesday: Highs in the high 50’s. Rainy weather conditions.

Wednesday: Sunny, highs in the low 70’s.
