Moose rescued from concrete tank in SE Idaho

Fish and Game was able to rescue a bull moose in Southeast Idaho on Wednesday.

The poor moose stepped inside a concrete tank that is used to hold water, and he just couldn’t make it back out again.

IDFG tried making a makeshift ramp to see if the moose would walk out on its own, but that didn’t work. So the decision was made to dart him and quickly pull the moose out of the tank.

Thanks to IDFG, they were finally able to get the moose out and eventually he wandered back into the wilderness.
