Possible Pocatello grain elevator fire
The Pocatello Fire Department was called to a possible fire at a grain elevator on Pocatello Avenue Thursday.
The call came in just before 2 p.m. after an employee said they could smell smoke.
Crews said they could see light smoke when they arrived and started looking for a fire but didn’t find anything.
Crews believe the smoke was caused by either a conveyor belt or bearing that got too hot.
