ITD seeks public input on Siphon Interchange design

A week ago the Idaho Transportation Department approved the Siphon Road interchange project in Bannock County.

The interchange will build a new connection in Pocatello/Chubbuck off of I-15 to help with congestion in areas like Yellowstone Road or Pocatello Creek exit.

Before the project moves forward into the next phase, ITD is asking for the public’s help. It is asking for public comments and feedback on the proposed design.

ITD has set up a public comment portal online where feedback can be submitted. People can submit general comments on the project or select specific areas of the map they would like to comment on.

Public comments will remain open through July 31.
