Power County investigates minor crash
No one was injured in a one-vehicle crash on the Arbon Valley Highway at around 10:33 p.m. Thursday night. The Power County Sheriff’s Office said the driver was southbound when he encountered a herd of cattle on the road and swerved to avoid them. He said he lost control of the vehicle and ran off the road onto the left should east of the roadway and ended up in a small drainage ditch. A 20-year-old female passenger was cited with an infraction for minor consumption of alcohol and was transported to Portneuf Medical Center for further treatment.
