TRAFFIC ALERT: Emergency calls slow down traffic near Snake River Landing

Traffic along Snake River Landing is moving slowly following the Melaleuca Freedom Celebration. Several people have called the Local News 8 and Eyewitness News 3 newsroom saying traffic has not moved for a “significant amount of time.”

Emergency crews are responding to several incidents in the area, including a call involving the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office and Idaho Falls Fire Department near Ryder Park.

If you are in the area and encounter emergency vehicles, slow down, pull to the side and give them the right away.
