Portneuf Health Trust looking for unused bikes

The Portneuf Health Trust in Pocatello is looking for unused bikes.

The bikes will be for public use at the Portneuf Wellness Complex. The bikes will be free for anyone to use. The Health Trust said the only catch is you have to be respectful of the equipment and return it when finished.

“Our mission is to enhance and improve health in Southeast Idaho,” said Shaun Menchaca, CEO and President of the health trust. “We are always looking for ways to make it easier for people to be healthier and more active. We thought this would be a great program to implement and give people another active option at the Wellness Complex that they may not have the ability to do otherwise. Having bikes onsite that people can use while they are at the complex will be a great addition to the many amenities already there.”

Bikes can be dropped off at Barrie’s Ski and Sports at 624 Yellowstone Avenue. Barrie’s will tune the bikes up and paint them before taking them to the complex.

The goal is to have at least ten bikes on site at the complex.
