Weather update for July 15th & 16th

We could scattered thunderstorms on Saturday afternoon and potentially throughout the night. Thunderstorm activity will likely continue on Sunday and Monday as the front stalls over Southeast Idaho. The highest chance of storm activity is over the Snake Plain and Eastern Highlands.

Models are showing more cloud cover on Sunday, which could cause temperatures to drop slightly.

On Tuesday and Wednesday drier air should move back in to the area. However, monsoonal moisture could return by the end of this week.

Sunday: Highs in the high 80’s, chance of isolated thunderstorms.

Monday: Highs in the high 80’s. Chance of isolated thunderstorms.

Tuesday: Sunny, with highs in the low 90’s.
