Allow extra time for Idaho Falls Regional Airport flights this weekend

Idaho Falls Regional Airport (IDA) staff advise travelers to plan extra time to get to the airport for commercial flights this Saturday and Sunday, July 22 and 23 because the Extreme Blue Thunder Air Show is taking place at the airport.

Officials said you should plan at least two to three hours of extra travel time to get to the terminal.

Roads around the airport will be closed, and the only approach to the airport to get to a terminal is from Broadway and Skyline Drive.

IDA staff asks for your patience and apologizes for the inconvenience.
