UPDATE: Officials continue to search for homicide suspect, park closures remain

UPDATE 7/19/2017: The search for suspect Gerald “Mike” Bullinger continues today.

The Teton County Sheriff’s Office said cadaver and live-search dogs are still being deployed in the field, and aerial resources are still being used.

The Sheriff’s Office is maintaining a regular presence in residential neighborhoods near the Pacific Creek Campground and Trailhead, and search teams are still working to check and clear any structures in
the wilderness within the search area.

Pilgrim Creek Road remains closed in Grand Teton National Park, and Pacific Creek Campground and Pacific Creek Road remains closed in Bridger-Teton National Forest.

The Teton County Sheriff’s Office requests any individuals who camped at the Pacific Creek Campground in the Bridger-Teton National Forest between the dates of June 1, 2017 and July 17, 2017 contact the Sheriff’s Office at 307-733-2331.

The search for the suspect, Gerald “Mike” Bullinger, continues, and the Sheriff’s office is seeking to interview anyone who spent time at the campground around the time that the vehicle of interest was abandoned.

Officials said any information or details could provide a benefit to the on-going investigation.

All visitors and local residents are reminded to maintain situational awareness and always be alert to your surroundings.
