AT&T to boost Idaho Falls service for August eclipse

AT&T plans to bring in extra network support to the Idaho Falls area for the total solar eclipse on August 21.

The company says it’s deploying a Cell on Wheels (COW) to get ready for the large number of smartphone users that’ll gather in the Idaho Falls area.

According to the company, the COWs boost the internet connectivity so you can have a faster and more reliable connection during the August 21 event.

AT&T plans to roll out 10 COWs and Cell on Light Trucks (COLTs) across the country.
