Detailed Forecast For July 24

Another warm day is expected today, with similar temperatures to Sunday in the low to mid 90s. However, there is an increased chance for thunderstorms in the late morning to evening hours. The first areas to see t-storms will likely be the Central Mountains, as well as towards the Magic Valley and S. Idaho generally. These showers will spread towards E. Idaho in the afternoon hours, though chances are low that the I-15 corridor is impacted much.

A greater threat for showers and t-storms exists for Tuesday as a low pressure center slides in from the west. E. Idaho could see rain begin in the morning hours, with some forecast models suggesting around a tenth to a quarter inch of rain for Tuesday. This storm lingers into Wednesday giving the region more chances for rain.

Today: Warm and mostly sunny with highs in the low 90s. A small chance for T-Storms in the afternoon.

Tonight: Lows in the mid to upper 50s with a 20 chance of T-Storms.

Tomorrow: Cooler with temperatures in the 80s and chances for T-Storms all day.

Wednesday: Temperatures in the 80s, and partly cloudy with chances for T-Storms.

Thursday: Temperatures near 90 with a small chance of T-Storms.
