Pocatello utility billing office to temporarily limit services July 27 for computer upgrades

The Pocatello Utility Billing Office will be limiting the services available to residents for computer upgrades Thursday afternoon .

The city said staff will be unable to post payments or access customer accounts to answer billing questions from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

During the scheduled outage, customers will still be able to:

Make a payment by phone if the account number is known as well as the amount to be paid Make payment arrangements in person or by email Sign for new customer service Request summer-line turn-on’s, leak repair verification, and meter readings

According to officials, the outage will not affect the City’s online bill-pay services.

Office services are scheduled to return to normal Friday morning.
