2 hurt in Jefferson county fire
Two people were hospitalized after a kitchen fire at a home at 9571 E. Ririe Highway Thursday morning. Jefferson Central Fire District Assistant Chief Carl Anderson said the fire appears to have started near a stove. Two people were transported for treatment of smoke inhalation and minor burns. The fire is out and firefighters are checking to make sure it hasn’t spread anywhere else in the house.
