First Alert Weather AUG 9th 2017
An active weather pattern continues for this week, with an increase in moisture from the south. Thunderstorms with gusty out-flow winds across the region. The highest chances are for the Central Mountains and the Southern/Caribou Highlands. Chances for T-Storms exist throughout the week, and could help to suppress wildfire smoke across the region. Thus, improvement in the haze is likely, though will still be an issue moving forward. Tonight: Partly cloudy with lows in the low 50’s. Wednesday: Highs in the low 80’s with a chance of T-Storms. Thursday: Highs in the low to mid 80’s with a chance of T-Storms. Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs into the lower 80’s. Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 85°.
