PUC reports 10 digit dialing transition went smoothly

The Idaho Public Utilities Commission reports they’ve spoken to all phone carriers/providers and all said the transition to 10 digit dialing went smoothly and reported no widespread problems.

PUC Public Information Officer Matt Evans said they’ve heard from four people Monday and three people Tuesday who’ve had trouble.

Anyone with a problem is encouraged to call their provider and/or the PUC at 208-334-0300 or email Evans at matthew.evans@puc.idaho.gov.

Evans said they’ll assign a consumer investigator to look into any problems brought to their attention.
