Lava Visitors Salute Summer with Final Flips From High-Dive

Labor Day Weekend typically marks the last day of the summer season for the Lava Hot Springs pool, drawing visitors from across the region who make visiting the outdoor pool an annual tradition during this three-day weekend.

Another tradition – of course, the daredevils who try their hand at the back-flip off of the high-dive, while others are sent screaming down the sky-high water slides.

All of it, an ode to the close-out of the final days of summer.

Although the outdoor pool is closed after Labor Day Weekend until next summer, the hot pools remain open all year round.
