Bingham Memorial launches coloring contest

Bingham Memorial Hospital launched its annual Coloring Contest with a student assembly at Wapello Elementary School in Blackfoot.

The theme of this year’s contest is “Idaho Living” and students are being asked to color an entry form that includes an image of what their favorite thing is about living in Idaho.

Pediatrician Dr. Gary Ullery said it will help make children smarter and brighter. “This stimulates brain function and it really helps them develop as kids,” he said.

Students from grades kindergarten through 8 will participate for a chance to win up to $7,500 for their school, $500 for their class and a new bike and helmet for themselves.

All the rules and entry information is available at any of the Bingham Memorial offices listed here.
