Central Fire District chief terminated

The Central Fire District is searching for a new fire chief after Bryan Grover was terminated from the position.

According to commissioner Roger Anderson, Grover was released of his duties Friday morning.

“We felt like it was time for a change in leadership,” Anderson said Sunday night.

Grover had been the Central Fire District chief for four years. Assistant chief Carl Anderson is acting chief. A nationwide search for Grover’s replacement will take place.

The Central Fire District serves Rigby, Ririe, Lewisville, Menan and surrounding areas.
