Police: Pocatello woman arrested for pointing pellet gun at two people

Pocatello Police officers responded to the area of 1415 South 5th in Pocatello regarding a disturbance around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Upon arrival, officers discovered there was an argument, and during the argument, Samantha Renea Linehan entered the front door with what was described as a black handgun and pointed it at two of the individuals involved in the disturbance.

Officials located the firearm and found it was a pellet gun.

Because Linehan pointed the firearm at two individuals, she was charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
