Idaho Falls man killed in agricultural accident

Bonneville County Sheriff’s Deputies and Idaho Falls Ambulance Personnel were dispatched to an agricultural accident in the 3000 W. block of 81st N. in Bonneville County around 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Emergency personnel report a 33-year-old Idaho Falls man was unloading a potato truck when his clothes were caught in the conveyor belt system on the back of the truck.

Others working with the victim, identified as Kevin Fox, were able to free him from tangled clothing and perform CPR until ambulance personnel took over.

Despite rescue efforts by bystanders and emergency crew, Fox succumbed to his injuries.

Bonneville County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Bonneville County Coroner’s Office are continuing an investigation into the incident at this time.
