Two men charged after fight

Two Idaho Falls men were booked into the Bonneville County Jail Wednesday night after a fight at a home on Greenwillow Drive.

Bonneville County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a disturbance at around 7:55 p.m. Two men were involved in a fight.

Deputies found the homeowner in an argument over property with Jeramie Seward, 26, who had been staying there.

The argument escalated to a fight and the homeowner ended up with an eye injury.

During the fight, a neighbor, identified as Cody Nelson, 30, threatened to use a BB gun to end the fight. According to reports, Nelson struck Seward in the head twice with a baseball bat.

Seward was taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. He was later released but taken into custody on charges of misdemeanor battery.

Nelson was arrested on felony charges of aggravated battery.

The homeowner was treated at the scene for his eye injury and released.
