Idaho Falls Zoo extends regular season

Good weather has allowed the Idaho Falls Zoo to extend its regular season one week.

It will be open daily through Sunday, October 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Officials report some of the cold-hardy animals have become more active in the cooler temperatures; however, the tropical birds and reptiles have been moved to their winter quarters inside the zoo, so they will not be available for public viewing.

Also, the zoo will reopen for the annual Boo at the Zoo fundraiser on October 26 to 28 and for Zoo Lights on October 29 to 31.

You can purchase tickets to the events HERE, at the zoo gift shop or at Broulim’s in Idaho Falls or Shelley.
