Three Tennessee people were arrested at 7:30 a.m. Thursday after a Wyoming Highway Patrol traffic stop about 20 miles west of Laramie, Wyoming on eastbound Interstate 80.
The three were driving a 2016 Ford Focus carrying approximately 63 pounds of marijuana.
Vickey Hamilton, 41, Lorenzo Hamilton, 21, and Champainge Rucker, 18, all from Nashville were arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and felony intent to deliver a controlled substance.
The trooper stopped the car for lane use violations after watching it fail to maintain its lane of travel several times. During a consent search of the car, a trooper found the marijuana in several bags.
Troopers determined the marijuana was being transported to the Tennessee area from California. They estimated the street value of the pot at $126,000.
