The key to a great Halloween costume may not be the actual costume

Halloween is just two days away. Do you have your costume ready?

The Spirit Halloween store has everything from full costumes to masks to even a few extra spooky things. One of the popular brands this year is the Netflix show Stranger Things. There’s also the ever popular superhero and Disney costumes. But, when asked what makes a Halloween Costume special, it wasn’t the actual costume.

“I think the best thing is accessories and make up for sure,” Adrienne Mitchell, Assistant Manager of Spirit Halloween, said. “Just depending what you’re going off of, make up adds the best touch. It really does.”

The costume store also says they’ve sold a lot of gory and scary costumes this year. But their best selling costume? The Sanderson sisters from the movie Hocus Pocus. It’s so popular, they can’t keep it on the shelves.
