Kristian Lopez to pay $1.7 mil in restitution for starting Henry’s Creek Fire
The man who started the Henry’s Creek Fire last year was given his bill of restitution Friday morning.
Kristian Lopez failed to appear in front of presiding Judge Steven Gardner.
Approving a request for a default judgment due to Lopez’s no-show, Gardner ordered Lopez to pay $1,727,110.91 in restitution for damages made by the fire.
