Pocatello Street Operations Department returns to five-day work schedule

The City of Pocatello Street Operations Department will make the switch to their winter work schedule on Monday, November 6.

Winter hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Employees have been working 10 hour days, four days per week throughout the summer to allow crews to coordinate their work schedules with construction contractors and to take advantage of longer daylight hours.

The return to eight hour days will permit better utilization of the shorter daylight hours during the fall and winter months.
