Rigby Police Department upgrades fleet
The Rigby Police Department is slowly changing its fleet over to silver Ford Interceptors.
RPD said it decided to go with a bit more of a modern look along with some touches that honor law enforcement history.
According to the department’s Facebook page, “Chief Tower is a bit of a history buff, and the integration of the modern and classic aspects of law enforcement is something you will see more of from his department.”
Checkers are a traditional police symbol previous to the Checkered Cab Company.
