One injured in crash on I-15
The Idaho State Police investigated a crash northbound on Interstate 15 at milepost 90, near Blackfoot at 2:22 a.m. Thursday.
ISP reports 30-year-old Challis Haumont of Buhl was driving northbound in a Peterbuilt semi pulling a trailer when another semi stopped on the right side of the road pulled in front of Haumont in order to illegally use the median crossover.
According to officials, Haumont swerved to avoid a collision and went into the median where his vehicle overturned.
Haumont was not wearing his seatbelt and was transported by ground ambulance to Bingham Memorial in Blackfoot.
ISP is investigating the crash.
