Pocatello driver charged with DUI and assault

Pocatello Police arrested Eloy Jay Cuch, 30, on charges of driving under the influence and aggravated assault.

According to reports, police were called to the 2100 block of South 4th at around 6 p.m. Wednesday to investigate reports that a man used his vehicle to run into other motorists. Police said the driver, identified as Cuch, struck one motorist several times in the 2100 block of South 2nd. Another unattended vehicle was also hit.

Police found Cuch driving the wrong way on South 4th. He was arrested near the intersection of South 4th and Crescent.
