Showers of rain and snow are possible this morning as this storm system makes one final push before moving off to the east. Strong winds are also expected to develop across the Snake River Plain, where there is a wind advisory for today from 11am-7pm. Drier weather moves back in late Friday and Saturday with cold temperatures.
Friday: Windy with highs near 40°. A 30% chance of rain/snow showers, mainly before noon. A southwest wind at 25 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Tonight: Lows into the mid high teens and low 20’s, with a light breeze making it feel even colder.
Saturday: Sunny and cold with highs into the mid to upper 30’s.
Sunday: Cold, partly sunny with highs into the upper 30’s.
