Power being restored after crane truck got stuck in power line

UPDATE 11:52 a.m.: Idaho Falls Power said power is coming back on.

According to the city of Idaho Falls, one patient was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

Officials said the estimated loss of the truck is $175,000.

UPDATE 11:35 a.m.: Idaho Falls Power officials report power is expected to be restored within the hour.

ORIGINAL 10:55 a.m: Idaho Falls Power reports about 1,000 customers are without power as of 10 a.m. Monday.

Officials report a crane truck got stuck in a power line at Washington Parkway and Crestwood Lane in Idaho Falls, and it did cause a small fire.According to Idaho Falls Power, no injuries were reported.

Power has been temporarily shut off, and officials said power will be restored within one to two hours.
