IDAHO FALLS

Thanksgiving Day November 23 Pool Closed Delayed garbage collection – All commercial and residential garbage collection will be one day late. Thursday’s collection will be Friday, and Friday’s collection will be Saturday. Race to Feed the Hungry – Starts at 9 a.m. – More HERE. Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner – 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Elks Lodge 640 E. Elva Idaho Falls – This event is free. East Idaho Aquarium – Buy one get one free admission for kids – 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 570 E Anderson St, Idaho Falls

RIGBY

Thanksgiving Day November 23 Turkey Day 5k – 8:00 a.m. at Rigby Lake – Admission is 5 cans of food. All cans will benefit the Jefferson County Food Bank.

REXBURG

Thanksgiving Day November 23 Gravity Factory Charity Dodge Ball Tournament – 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Gravity Factory 165 Airport Road – For each can or non-perishable food item you bring, you will get a $1 discount on your admission. There’s no limit on the number of cans you can bring. Registration will be from 8 a.m – 9 a.m., and the tournament will follow. All of the food and money raised will be redistributed to the local residents in need via the Family Crisis Center. Rexburg Tabernacle “Turkey Choir” – 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Rexburg Tabernacle at 51 N Center. This event is free. Rexburg Chamber closed Friday, November 24 Rexburg Chamber closed

ST. ANTHONY

Thanksgiving Day November 23 Free Thanksgiving Dinner at the St. Anthony Lions Club – About 500 people will receive a hot meal.

Thanksgiving Day November 23 Bannock County Landfill closed
