Idaho ranked #10 as the safest state for Black Friday shopping
A recent study by Reviews.org ranked Idaho as the tenth safest state for Black Friday shopping.
For the study, researchers took past Black Friday incident data, general FBI crime statistics for each state and Google search trends that indicate which states are already on the hunt for Black Friday deals.
Below is a map of reported Black Friday violent incidents broken down by state.
The states with the highest risk of Black Friday violence are Tennessee, Arkanasa and Alabama.
