Local students collecting items for homeless animals

Holy Rosary third graders will be collecting items for the homeless animals at the Snake River Animal Shelter during the month of December.

The shelter is in need of the following items:

dog and cat toys leashes and collars clean gently used towels and blankets dishes and dog/cat beds plain brown dog and cat food (no red dyes) plain brown dog and cat treats (no red dyes)

Donations can be dropped off at the school at 161 9th St. in Idaho Falls starting December 1.

On December 18, Kristin Sanger along with one of the adoptable pets will be visiting the school to talk about caring for a pet and gather items that have been collected.
