Jackson District Ranger Dale Deiter named supervisor of Prescott National Forest

Jackson District Ranger Dale Deiter has accepted a position as supervisor for the Prescott National Forest in Arizona.

Deiter will report to Arizona on January 8, 2018. He has served as district ranger on the Bridger-Teton National Forest since 2007.

He came to Jackson from the Fishlake National Forest in Utah, where he was the travel management plan team leader for several years. With a background in hydrology, Deiter served as forest hydrologist on the Fishlake and Idaho Panhandle National Forests. He worked as a pre-sale forester on the Idaho Panhandle in the early days of his forest service career.
