Meet Santa for free at the Rexburg Tree Festival

The second annual Rexburg Tree Festival kicks off Friday night at 6 p.m.

This two-day event will feature decorated Christmas trees and wreaths donated by the local community at the Rexburg Tabernacle Civic Center, music, entertainment, an Ugly Sweater Contest and a silent auction of the donated items.

Children can also visit Santa at the “North Pole” (The Carousel at Porter Park) where they can ride the carousel, participate in fun activities and meet Santa all for free.

Transportation between the Carousel and the Tabernacle will be provided via a Christmas Spirit Bus which will feature a Christmas light show synced to holiday music.

The Tree Festival and Santa at the Carousel will run December 1 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and December 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Admission is free but donations are accepted with proceeds being given to “Shop with a Cop.”
