Zoo Idaho to hold “Wild Winter Weekends” in December

You can view the animals of Zoo Idaho in a different light this December.

The zoo will host the fourth annual Wild Winter Weekends on Saturday, December 2 and Saturday, December 9 from noon to 4 p.m.

During the celebration, the animals’ exhibits are decorated with Christmas lights, and the animals are given holiday-themed enrichment treats.

There will also be snow science class from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.about how animals adapt to the winter months.

Admission to Wild Winter Weekends is free for children 2 and under, as well as Zoo Idaho Zoological Society members, $3.75 for ages 3 to 11, $5.75 for ages 12 and up and $4.50 for ages 60 and up.
