New service changes the way you grocery shop
Nothing is harder on a busy mom than lugging three kids and an armful of groceries home, but oh how the times are changing. Now, you can go online, create your grocery list and have your groceries ready for pick-up.
Ridley’s Family Markets in Blackfoot recently launched “Ridley’s Shop-At-Home” for shoppers to save a trip as they order groceries online, rather than in the store.
This service provides customers with another option when a trip to the grocery store just isn’t in the schedule.
Attendants hand-pick your warm, cold or shelf items after you place your order, which are then stored fresh, just as if you hand-picked them yourself.
Ridley’s E-Commerce Supervisor Sally Carrillo said, “Stay-at-home moms can benefit from this, working professionals, the elderly, anybody pretty much can benefit from the fact that we’ll go and pick your groceries for you, they’re always going to get the highest quality items, and have them delivered even to their car, or to the home.”
An unconventional, yet worthwhile way of shopping.
Manager Josh Genera said, “I definitely recommend giving it a shot, I think I’d tell our customers I’d go back to the classics and say don’t knock it until you try it.”
Heather Hanson, an online shopper who is in full support of the new service, explained how it has made her life more convenient.
“I can get off work and i can come pick up my groceries and i don’t have to worry about doing it myself,” said Hanson.
A quick and effective way of shopping.
Carrillo continued, “People have so much going on in their lives that this service just provides them with something that is valuable to them.”
You can go to shopridleys.com/athome to start shopping, and Ridley’s Introductory Promo is $15 off a $60 or more order with a $30 minimum.
Other stores such as the Pocatello Creek and Old-Town Ridley’s, Wal-Mart and Broulim’s offer this service as well.
