Osgood man to seek House seat

Saying he believes in conservative values and hard work, lifetime Bonneville County resident Gary Marshall announced he will run for the republican nomination for the Idaho House in 2018.

The District 30, Position A legislative seat is currently held by Republican Jeff Thompson.

Marshall has a lifetime career in education, as both a public school teacher and a 27-year career at Ricks College/BYU-Idaho. Marshall has a Masters Degree in Education Administration from BYU and two years of graduate work at the ISU school of Political Science and Economics.

Marshall said he would work to “maintain economic freedom for business and agriculture” and give teachers the resources they need to be successful.

Marshall and his wife, Ramona, have 7 children and 37 grandchildren.
