Audio from Josh Holt, says in dire medical situation

On Monday December 11, Joshua Holt’s Family sent Local News 8 and KIDK Eyewitness News 3 the following statement:

“Sadly today our son Josh Holt found himself again in a dire medical situation. Regardless of the court order approving his transport to a Medical Facility to receive proper medical care, the Prison’s Directors under the instructions of high Government officials, keep denying him the transfer to such facility. As the attached audio relates, Josh Holt is in a delicate state and therefore we asks again that Venezuela releases him under humanitarian grounds immediately or in the alternative that our leaders in the US Government double their efforts in bringing him home before is too late.”

Joshua Holt and his wife, Thamy, have now been held in a Venezuelan jail for nearly a year and a half.

Last week, the U.S. Department of State once again called for the Venezuelan government to release the Holts.

Josh and Thamy Holt were arrested in June 2016 and accused of being U.S. spies.
