Inversion, Sun, Fog & some mtn. Snow
There’s a weak passing disturbance tonight through Wednesday, clipping the Island Park and Jackson region. We’ll have a slight chance of snow for that region.
Our ridge of high pressure continues with patchy fog for the overnight and early morning, with sunshine for the mid-day and the afternoon. This pattern will continue through Thursday after which we’ll see a chance for snow by Saturday and Sunday.
Overnight: Increasing clouds with a lows in the low to mid teens. Light northeast wind at 5-10 mph.
Wednesday: Areas of patchy freezing fog and partly sunny, with a highs in the low 30’s. Slight chance of snow for Island Park, Driggs, Jackson Hole.
Thursday: Partly sunny with some morning fog. Highs near 30° for the Snake River Plain.
Friday: Partly sunny during the day, with a high’s into the lower to mid 30’s. Friday Night, expect cloud cover and a 30% percent chance of snow showers. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
