Ridge Crest Elementary students receive bedroom makeover

For the third year in row, Ridge Crest Elementary in Blackfoot has picked a hard working student and sponsored a bedroom makeover. This year Michelle and Kimberly Acosta received the honor.

Where they once shared a twin bed, there is now a sturdy bunk bed set with a vanity. Where the colors were muted, they now have bright white and pink walls. Two handmade quilts and brand new books on the shelf pull it all together, creating a charming safe place to sleep. A lot of people had a hand in this project, which grew so big, it spread out into the living room with new linoleum, new kitchen cupboards, and more.

Here’s a list of the 2017 donors for the bedroom makeover.
