Health care providers announce Chubbuck center

A group of local health care providers have announced plans to build a new medical campus in Chubbuck. A formal announcement was scheduled Friday.

Dr. Fahim Rahim, Bingham Healthcare CEO Jake Erickson, and Chubbuck Mayor Kevin England said they’ll announce the project Friday.

The medical campus will be built in Chubbuck on an undeveloped 20-acre lot.

They said it was intended to serve the citizens of Chubbuck as well as provide greater access and more options for health care to Pocatello and all of Bannock County.

Some of the same physician providers broke ground on a new surgical center in Idaho Falls in October.
