Scattered snow in the forecast

A cold front will arrive Friday night and into Saturday giving the I-15 corridor a chance for snow.
Snow of 1 to 2 inches is possible for the Snake River Plain. 1-3″ for Central Idaho. 2 to 4 inches in the Snake Highlands for Island Park, Spencer, and Palisades. 2 to 4 inches possible for the SE Highlands around Soda Springs and the Bear Lake area. Snow tappers off in the Plain for late afternoon. We’ll have some snow sticking around for far Eastern Idaho and Wyoming into Saturday morning.

Saturday: A chance of snow showers in the morning, with the potential for a convergence zone setting up anywhere from Rexburg to Idaho Falls. This could result is an inch or two more of snow where this area of convergence sets up.

Sunday: Partly sunny with highs in the upper 20’s.
