Headwaters Construction to oversee school projects

Victor-based Headwaters Construction Company has been selected as Construction Manager/General Contractor for upcoming Teton School District building projects.

Voters approved a $37 million bond to build new elementary schools, additions, and remodeling projects.

The District #401 Board of Trustees selected after reviewing qualifications and proposals submitted by Headwaters and Bateman-Hall General Contractors. The selection committee rating the proposals included the school board, Superintendent Monte Woolstenhume and three community members. The community members represented various areas of construction expertise.

Headwaters was directed to focus on preconstruction services in close collaboration with the school district and its architects during the design and construction of the school buildings.

“We look forward to working with a high-quality professional contractor with a strong local presence in our community on these projects,” said Woolstenhume. “The school district, along with GPC architects, will be working closely with Headwaters Construction to continue the work on designing and programming these projects.”

Further details and construction updates will be available here.
